1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using CarrierLens, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on that company’s behalf.

2. About CarrierLens

CarrierLens is operated by JahazServices. It helps freight brokers and shippers research motor carriers by bringing together publicly available data and generating risk scores and indicators to support that research.

3. Carrier data

Carrier information shown in CarrierLens comes from publicly available sources, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and its SAFER system, along with other third-party data providers and APIs.

This data may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We do not create or verify the underlying government records, and we are not responsible for errors in the source data.

4. Risk scores and indicators

Risk scores, dispatch indicators, and alerts in CarrierLens are informational tools generated from carrier data. They are not an official FMCSA safety rating, not legal or compliance advice, and not a recommendation to hire any carrier.

You are responsible for independently verifying a carrier’s authority, insurance, and safety status before tendering a load.

5. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change our prices from time to time, and we will give you advance notice before a change takes effect.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute data from the service;
• use automated tools to access the service or attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or bot-protection checks;
• use carrier contact information to harass, spam, or build marketing lists;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose; or
• interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service.

8. Intellectual property

CarrierLens, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by JahazServices and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service. You may use the service only as permitted by these terms.

9. Third-party services and links

CarrierLens relies on third-party services, such as our payment processor and data providers, and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third party.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, JahazServices will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold JahazServices harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or your breach of these terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you breach these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the service at any time.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
